I respectfully request that anyone who has come to this blog looking for a good song to listen to accept my apology for that apple orchard song. I sincerely have no idea what I was thinking. Upon further listening, I really don't like it, at all. Not even a little bit. I have no idea what I was thinking. I'm blaming the sangria I had for Cinco de Mayo.
As my apology, please re-live this blast of acoustic punk from the past...proving that acoustic guitars and girly voices CAN, in fact, rock.

BTW i think three dots... and then a space is proper English. Sometimes you use 4 dots, or 5 or 3 with no space. As a professional you need to do better.
Otherwise good work, i only mention it because i know you care.
not sure who you are, supper, but the three dots = ellipsis and i do use it incorrectly, but i'm fine with that. i also dislike capitalization. sometimes a 4 dot ellipsis seems right. sometimes 5. the spirit moves and i respond...
ReplyDeleteas for it being a shitty little blog, true that...the only purpose is to archive a dumb idea from a gmail status window for a few friends who might miss it, but even then, i'd always use the correct form of 'you're' when writin' it up, cause you're right, i do care.
OK I guess i should proof read comments. My use of You're is obscene... good call and smartly replied too.
ReplyDeleteI shouldn't worry about ellipsis but i do in some way because blogging is often the act of random thoughts.
By proof reading i would have also noticed the harsh nature of the post... when i said "shitty little blog", i was talking in terms of general blogging... i was speaking in jest... just like you probably don't want some publicist to be "kicked square in the nuts".
I like your blog... keep going... Perhaps it could be Sullivan's shitty song of the day every once in a while, or boring song... that way you will be under less pressure to come up with a great song every day, and you could have fun tearing bad songs apart... because that always makes for a good blog, and it could free you a bit from "going down with the ship"
Anyhoo, honestly i think what you are doing is great, i also think Blogging is a jack ass sport, and i have a pile of shithole blogs myself so i should know. In my blogs i use to use ellipsis wrong and then it was pointed out to me... what i found out was that if you use it right you can bark any series of non connected thoughts.
